Royal Caribbean Group Cruises

The absolute minimum is 8 rooms, based on double occupancy.

The maximum for standard groups is 50 rooms, but Royal Caribbean will allow for significantly more under their “contracted groups” policy.  Contracted groups are more complicated, and have different deposit and release restrictions. 

There are several rules that apply to this:

• If you are creating a group of 16 rooms or fewer, no deposit is needed.  However, without a deposit, room numbers cannot be assigned, and no special amenities are allowed for your group.
• If you would like to block 17 to 50 rooms, a deposit of $50 per room is required, and you will also qualify for several group amenities.
• If you block 8 to 16 rooms, and also want group amenities, you may do so by depositing $50 per room.

As long as you have a group deposit on your rooms, you will be able to choose from a variety of amenities that depend on the length of the cruise and the itinerary.  These amenities can include cocktail parties, onboard credit, a Welcome bottle of wine in your room, chocolates, cheese plates, and much more.  When you block your group space, we will happily help you choose your options.

For every 16 people that sail in your group in staterooms at full-fare double occupancy rates, you will get 1 free berth. So if you have 16 rooms at double occupancy (32 people), you will get one free room for two people.  Important: The Free room is for the cruise fare only.  You will still be responsible for the taxes, port fees and NCF charges. Additionally, the complimentary room value will be based on the average price of all other rooms booked in your group.    Similarly, if you have 32 rooms in your group (with 64 people), you would get two free rooms under the same terms, and so on.

You can only choose all of the rooms when you have people ready to book and make their full deposits.  Before that, you can choose the room categories and the number of rooms, but you cannot block out certain rooms.

That depends on the cruise length:

• 1 – 5 Nights: $200 per stateroom
• 6 – 9 Nights: $500 per stateroom
• 10+ Nights: $900 per stateroom

Yes, you can.  However, when you add extra rooms, those rooms will be priced at the prevailing rates of that time.

Depending on the size of your group and how many complimentary rooms you will need, we can arrange additional discounts based on reaching certain volumes, we can help with promoting your group, and we can assign hosts to your group that will sail with you.  Additionally, we can offer transportation, logistics, and even private shore excursions that offer unique options not available through the cruise line.
